1997 Ford Heavy Duty F250

I have a 1997 F250 with a 7.3 that keeps popping the #22 fuse. Drove just fine and was parked. Went to move the truck and it would not start. After doing some troubleshooting found the 22 fuse popped. Put a new one in and it popped immediately. Is this an indication that the PCM is bad.

Don't touch your ecm or idm.

There is a little heating wire at the bottom of your fuel bowl it's probably shorting out against the bottom of the bowl.

Replace the fuel bowl with a new one is the best thing.  I replaced my sensor in there $110 CAD because fuel was leaking through it.  Well a week later fuel started leaking from the metal elbows on the front.  I tried everything.

It was filling my engine valle with fuel and making everyone sick in my truck so I replaced the fuel bowl with a new one $470 CAD.  Now I have a $110 sensor for nothing not to mention al the time I sen trying to stop the leaks.

And yes Ford dealer told me it was the mechanical fuel pump leaking so I ended up changing that twice for no reason myself, Ford wanted $5,000 CAD to do the job.  It cost me $285 CAD a pop.  Ford dealerships know nothing...
